When weather or connections change

• Ask who you contact if your flight is late and whether the island pickup can be moved.
• Read the ferry, accommodation and activity cancellation terms separately; one refund policy does not cover every provider.
• Confirm a realistic alternative overnight stay and how another transfer would be paid.
• Avoid committing to a distant outing that leaves no flexibility before your return flight.

RAI’s daily panel uses BMKG reference points at Sorong and Waisai, with issue and retrieval times. Waisai does not describe every island. Estimated tide turning points are not a dive-current forecast or permission to sail. Your skipper and guide must assess the actual route and conditions; do not pressure them to operate because a general forecast looks acceptable.

Contact the accommodation and next transport provider promptly; ask for the revised pickup, written costs and available options. Keep receipts for any insurance claim. An added dive is not automatically a suitable spare-day activity: recheck the required interval before the next flight. RAI suggests nearby land activities or rest when your guide considers them suitable.
